CERTI4Headmasters (2018-2020): School headmasters, trainers and tutors: exchange of good practices

The ERASMUS + Strategic Partnerships for school education “CERTI4Headmaster” project will start in Oct 2018. This project is coordinated by T.F.B. (Teach For Belgium) and will last for 18 month, starting in Oct. 2018. This project will gather partners from Belgium, Germany, Slovakia and Switzerland. Its main objective is the exchange of good practices.

The organization of the school system can significantly affect the social and economic outcomes of an education system. Lack of high quality education is also often linked to staff inadequate (initial) training and limited opportunities for professional development for teachers and principals.

The project aim at sharing practices and information concerning: teachers’ selection, recruitment, training and coaching; headmasters’ lifelong learning opportunities and competence needs to support the professional development of new teachers; existing continuous vocational trainings for headmasters, European Teach for All organisations’ tutors best practices.

Based on these best practices, the Swiss partner EFCoCert specialised in the development of European certification for persons will develop a headmaster and a tutor European skill cards. The objective is also to analyse the need for a further project aiming at developing European certifications for headmasters and for tutors.
