The pandemic restrictions being progressively lifted, the PPI GO project consortium could convene for a blended Erasmus+ kick-off meeting hosted by LUM (private university, chair of innovation management) in Casamassima and Matera the 17th & 18th February.

The picture above illustrates the blended attendance whereby the Italian, French and Swiss (EFCoCert) partners were present physically, and the Greek and Portuguese partners attended remotely.

For those who could meet face to face, it was a huge relief to experience again the enriching personal contact with all essential side discussions during the breaks and common meals.

This confirmed that it is not just nostalgy, but real added value to the project, the furthermore within a new consortium, in which the partners need a better knowledge of each other.

The PPI GO project is dedicated to define, develop and recognise the necessary competences of the Managers of Public Procurement of Innovation (PPI), addressing the evidence and need according to which the huge potential of public procurement for promoting innovation is widely underexploited due to the lack of related competences of the PPI managers.

EFCoCert Foundation is proud of contributing to this exciting project as competence certification expert.
