EFCoCert Foundation, expert in competence certification within the framework of EU funded projects continues innovating.
After achieving over 2022-23 a first successful revolution replacing the classical examinations or jury by the candidate’s related stakeholders’ ecosystem for assessing the demonstrated competences, EFCoCert brought now an additional dimension by developing a system allowing to certify the collective competence of an organisation.
This happened in the framework of the Erasmus+ KA2 ECO-Tag project, dedicated to sustainability good practices in culinary VET Centres. Thus, for the very first time within micro-credentials and open badges certification, the following 3 levels are available related to sustainable good practices in culinary VET education:
- “I Know How” badge, automatically delivered by the certification platform in case the pass-mark of the acquired knowledge test is met, and
- “I Am Confirmed” badge, delivered once the teacher’s competence has been demonstrated and assessed through achieved results.
- “Certified School” for VET centres meeting the good practices at school level and employing at least 3 “I Know How” teachers.
Beyond the classical “I Know” level, delivered to attest the acquisition of some knowledge, the 2 other certification levels go way beyond, and bring an essential added value to the project.
