Need analysis: despite of growing importance of innovations based on results of R&D for competitiveness of European economies, there is still no generally recognised standard for education of knowledge and technology transfer (KTT) professionals and certification of their expertise.

Being generally adopted, this scheme would contribute to increase of effectivity of KTT process on both states and EU levels.

  • identify and map KTT good practices allowing evidence-based competence recognition,

  • engage existing training curricula to self-assess and improve regarding KTT good practices,

  • develop a KTT competence certification scheme based on an open badge informal recognition ecosystem,

  • pilot test the improved curricula and the certification scheme.

Target public: KTT professionals, innovation project managers, technology transfer offices of universities, research institutes and corporations, KTT training providers, KTT professional associations.

Sector: VET, university.
