Need analysis: despite of growing importance of innovations based on results of R&D for competitiveness of European economies, there is still no generally recognised standard for education of knowledge and technology transfer (KTT) professionals and certification of their expertise.
An EU harmonised competence certification scheme would bring reasonable benchmark for comparison of various KTT training schemes and facilitate presentation of the professional expertise level of KTT professionals. Being generally adopted, this scheme would contribute to increase of effectivity of KTT process on both states and EU levels.
Objectives:
Target public: KTT professionals, innovation project managers, technology transfer offices of universities, research institutes and corporations, KTT training providers, KTT professional associations.
Sector: VET, university.
